# Setup eSIM in mobile phone

An eSIM is a digital SIM embedded within your end user's mobile device. It allows you to activate a device on PWG's network without the need for a physical SIM card. Many newer devices offer eSIM functionality instead of traditional SIM card slots.

You will receive the eSIM QR code through one of the following methods:

1. **Purchase Without Logging into Your Account:** If you did not log in during the eSIM purchase, your QR code will be emailed to the address you provided at the time of purchase.
2. **Purchase After Logging into Your Account:** If you logged in before purchasing the eSIM, you can download your eSIM QR code from the SIM listing page in your account portal.

To activate your eSIM:

* Scan the QR code with your Android phone and check if auto-detection works.
* If auto-detection fails, please follow the manual download process outlined in the next section.
